QOOLMATE needs a rest, so do you!
QOOLMATE uses heat transfer technology to remove excess heat from itchy or flared up areas. Its aluminum unibody absorbs heat through conduction. This allows it to soak up a lot of warmth over time.

In a room around 25°C, QOOLMATE can provide about 5- 8 minutes of continuous cooling. After that, its internal temperature gets close to body heat. Just like QOOLMATE needs a rest, so do you!

Give both yourself and QOOLMATE a 20-minute break when this happens. This allows the stored warmth to dissipate so it's ready for another session. Putting it in a cooler spot, like near a fan, during the break can speed things up.

In summary - when QOOLMATE signals it's time for a rest, take one too. A short pause of 20 minutes will have you both cooled off and recharged to go again.

The perception of cold can vary significantly depending on your thermal sensitivity. QOOLMATE may feel cooler on your hands than on other parts of your body, which is normal. This is due to differences in thermal receptor density across the body.
Areas like the face and finger tips contain the highest concentration of thermal sensory receptors, making them exponentially more sensitive to temperature changes. In comparison, other regions have far fewer receptors and thus lower sensitivity.

If QOOLMATE does not seem as cold when applied directly, try feeling the treated area afterwards with your fingers. The finger’s higher receptor density will provide a better sense of the device's actual cooling effectiveness. Variation in thermal perception is natural due to receptor distribution, not a change in QOOLMATE's cooling capabilities. With lower receptor sites, temperature detection is simply less profound.
